I was absolutely delighted with the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was charming, with beautiful floral wallpaper and cozy seating areas that made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciated the ease of accessibility throughout the hotel, with well-lit hallways and conveniently placed handrails for extra support. It was comforting to see that the children working there were always ready to assist me if needed.
For a better vacation for senior people, I would have loved to see an option for daily housekeeping services.

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Charnwood in Lewannick. We stayed for a week and used it as a base to explore both the East Cornwall coasts. The bungalow was quiet, cosy, and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The king-size bed was just right, and the fireplace was perfect for those cold evenings. The manager, Vicky, was incredibly helpful and even offered assistance when our car broke down. Despite a recent power outage, Vicky managed to keep everything spotlessly clean. The owner also contacted us to ensure we had everything we needed and gave us useful advice. We were especially impressed by the unique book collection and the fresh flowers that greeted us upon arrival. it was an ideal holiday home.
I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Charnwood Villa in Lewannick and had a fantastic time. The bungalow was clean, warm, and comfortable, making it the perfect home away from home. I especially loved the wood burner in the evenings, creating a cozy atmosphere. The location was great for exploring both Devon and Cornwall, with easy access to main roads. The value for money was excellent, and I would highly recommend staying here.
Even though my stay was mostly positive, there were a few drawbacks. The double mattress in the main bedroom was extremely soft and could use a replacement.

The bathroom was clean and cozy, and the shower was refreshing. It made me feel relaxed and at ease. As a guest who loves a good hot shower, this was perfect for me.
The bathroom had only one shower. Just my personal preference, but I like having options.

A hidden gem! Charnwood Villa provided us with the perfect cozy and welcoming retreat. The wood burner was a highlight, especially on cold evenings. The location was ideal for exploring both coasts of East Cornwall. The owner and manager, Vicky, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and even offered assistance when our car broke down. The spotlessly clean accommodation, despite the power outage caused by storm Eunice, was impressive. The fresh flowers on arrival added a special touch.
The lack of a dining table in the small kitchen was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the absence of WiFi and mobile phone signal made it challenging to stay connected.

Clean and well-maintained bungalow with spacious rooms and a modern bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy and enjoyable.- Great location for exploring Devon and Cornwall, with easy access to main roads.
Misleading address made it difficult to find the property initially. Soft mattress in the main bedroom that could have been firmer.
